A VSL is that extra push needed for you to generate sales
Everyone knows how to get traffic to their website
Posting content, running ads, etc. has been the standard for online businesses since they took off
But converting them to sales calls? The only thing that has been doing that for years has been copywriting
And since every piece of media has turned to video, why not copywriting?
We can retain the storytelling, the intricate details and the precision of copywriting with the attention-grabbing effects of a video
Why VSLs are the way to go
VSLs aren't a flashy business. Not even as flashy as other marketing agencies
It's not popular, it's not something that people will scream "wow" at
So why did I do it?
Playing to my advantage
Storytelling is my strong suit, and it has always been that way
VSLs have always been treated like YouTube videos
Get attention > Say your offer > Testimonials > CTA
But the more I studied VSLs (and marketing in general), the more I realised that storytelling is the most persuasive marketing device possible
A VSL with solid traffic, good storytelling, and a passionate business behind it?
That VSL can make millions
I don't hide my secrets because I know nobody can write stories into VSLs like we do
It's not something anyone else can replicate
It's not something you can generate with AI
It's not something you can use formulas and mathematics to calculate
How I came up with VSLs?
I grew up reading fictional books and writing stories
Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games etc. took a up a huge role in my childhood
Eventually, I'd write my own fantasy book. It wasn't great, but writing it developed my storytelling skills more than anything else could
Fast forward to 2024, I was listening to a podcast by Ali Abdaal where he mentioned that you needed to sell to businesses
I instantly thought of something I had heard about before - a VSL
Ever since, I've studied and developed the skills to writing a VSL
The more I study, the more I realise how much the market undervalues VSLs
I'm here so that you don't make that very same mistake
The VSL guy
